Salmonella PCR Detection Kit
The Atila Salmonella PCR Detection Kit is designed for rapid qualitative detection of Salmonella DNA from clinical specimen, food sample, or environmental samples. The kit provides a PCR master mix which contains reagents and enzymes for PCR amplification; and a primer mix which are specific to the Salmonella genome. In addition, the kit provides an internal control to identify possible PCR inhibition or sample preparation failure.
Salmonella is a bacterium commonly found in the environment and can be transmitted between human and animals. People are often infected after consuming contaminated food and may develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps between 12 and 72 hours after infection. Occasionally, Salmonella can spread from the intestines to the blood stream, and then to other body sites.

Prepare the PCR reaction mix by combining 12.5μL x (N+2) of PCR master mix with 5μL x (N+2) of primer mix.

Finalize by adding H2O 5.5μL x (N+2) to complete the reaction mix.

Add 23μL of reaction mix per well along with 2μL of extracted DNA and internal control.

Perform PCR.
