Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method)

The Atila Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit is intended for the extraction, enrichment, and purification of nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) from samples such as serum, plasma, nasopharyngeal swab, cell preservation fluid, tissue fluid, urine, and secretions.

Four kits are available.

  • A200-32: Manual extraction kit, enhanced performance for cfDNA extraction.
  • B200-32: Automated extraction kit, universal, max input 200ul per sample, elute in 50ul.
  • C200-32: Automated extraction kit, enhanced performance for cfDNA extraction, max input 200ul per sample, elute in 50ul.
  • D200-32: Manual extraction kit, universal.

Each kit includes 32 tests.

This product is for research use only in the US.

Category: SKU: B200-32

Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method)

The Atila Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method) ensures reproducible extraction of DNA/RNA. The procedure comprises 3 simple steps: lyse, wash, and elute. The DNA/RNA binds to the surface of magnetic beads while sample lysis. During the wash steps, contaminants and PCR inhibitors are effectively removed, and pure DNA/RNA is eluted in the elution buffer.

Features Include

Kit Flexibility

One kit works with a variety of sample types and sizes.

Ultraclean DNA/RNA

Minimal contamination of extracted sample means successful downstream application.

Improved Design

Optimized design and buffer formulation for better yield and purity.

High Throughput Compatible

Easy to automate on the Atila-Pure32 instrument for high-throughput sample handling.

Technical Specs

Assay Targets

DNA/RNA

Reaction Time

Kits A200-32 & D200-32 are manual. B200-32 & C200-32 are less than 25 minutes of instrument time.

Sample Types

Serum, plasma, nasopharyngeal swab, cell preservation fluid, tissue fluid, urine and secretions.

Sensitivity

Can extract almost 100% of DNA/RNA in the sample.

Instruments

Atila-Pure32 and other programmable extraction instruments. For manual extraction kit, a dry bath heating block and magnetic rack are required but not provide with the kit.

Auto Workflow

Workflow Overview for the Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method)

This section is for demonstrative purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always refer to the product instructions for precise guidelines and directions.

Take out all the components from the kit, turn the 96-well pates upside down and mix the liquid well.
Add Proteinase K and Sample to the position A1-H1 and A7-H7 in order.
Put the 96-well plates into the corresponding position of the instrument and start the program.
Take out 96-well plates and pipette extracted samples from the position A6-H6 and A12-H12 for following operation.

Manual Workflow

Workflow Overview for the Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method)

This section is for demonstrative purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always refer to the product instructions for precise guidelines and directions.

Mix Sample with Lysis Buffer, magnetic Beads Solution and Proteinase K solution.
Heat the sample for 10 min on a dry bath.
Separate the beads on a magnetic rack and wash with washing buffer.
Elute in Elution Buffer on a dry bath.
Separate the beads on a magnetic rack and store the eluted sample for future usage.
SIMPLE. FAST. AFFORDABLE.
