iAMP Sepsis Panel
The Atila iAMP Sepsis Panel is a real-time fluorescent isothermal PCR assay based on Atila’s proprietary isothermal amplification technology intended for the simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of nucleic acids from 30 common sepsis causing pathogens (summarized in Table 1) and for detection of 11 common drug-resistant gene markers (DR) (summarized in table 2) in plasma specimens obtained from individuals with or suspected of sepsis.
Each kit includes 96 tests.
This product is for research use only (RUO).
iAMP Sepsis Panel
Sepsis is a critical medical condition caused by the body’s overwhelming and dysregulated response to infection, often resulting in organ dysfunction and high mortality rates. One of the key challenges in sepsis management is the timely and accurate identification of the causative pathogen. Pathogen detection plays a pivotal role in guiding targeted antimicrobial therapy, which is essential for improving patient outcomes and combating the rise of antibiotic resistance.
Hence, identifying the pathogens associated with these infections, to receive appropriate treatment at an early stage is of utmost importance. To this end, Atila Biosystems aims to provide an easy to use, quick result, highly sensitive and specific detection assay.
Our affordable iAMP Sepsis Panel uses a multiplexed isothermal PCR approach to identify 30 pathogens consisting of wide varieties of bacterial and fungal species, and 11 antimicrobial resistance gene markers in plasma or whole blood specimens. The assay uses a simple, extraction-free workflow to deliver results in under 90 minutes. The iAMP Sepsis Panel offers a vital combination of speed, accuracy, and comprehensiveness, enabling rapid identification of probable pathogens directly from plasma or whole blood.
