Our affordable iAMP CT/NG/TV/MG Detection Kit is the first isothermal STI assay kit on the market to identify all four pathogens in a single assay. The assay uses a simple, extraction-free workflow to deliver results in under 90 minutes.

There are more than 110 million sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the US at any given time. Four of the most common STI pathogens are Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), Trichomonas vaginalis (TV), and Mycoplasma genitalium (MG).

Left untreated, STIs can cause long-term health consequences such as cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), female infertility, ectopic pregnancy, preterm birth, and other adverse outcomes.

Solid evidence also suggests a close correlation between STI (especially Trichomonas vaginalis) and HIV transmission. Therefore, it is essential to have a product that can accurately and rapidly identify STI pathogens.

High sensitivity assay detects as low as 10 copies of pathogen genome per reaction.

Compatible with iAMP Personal Station Real-Time System, Atila Powergene 9600plus Real-Time PCR System, Bio-Rad CFX96, and other commonly used RT-qPCR instruments.

Dry swab in sample tube.
Add up to 750µL 1X Atila sample buffer.
Vortex & incubate at 95C for 10 minutes.
Add 20 µL Reaction Mix, and 5 µL processed sample.
Run on standard PCR instrument.

  • Direct dry wound swab specimens collected by clinicians with Atila Swab Sample Collection Device (iAMP-SWA-SCD). Alternatively, specimens collected with sample collection devices from other vendors may be used after self-validation.
