Atila's molecular approach provides a simple, fast, highly sensitive and specific assay to identify the fungal nail infection.
Fungal nail infections or onychomycosis can affect up to 14% of the general population. These infections often lead to skin infections around the nail. Traditional methods to identify onychomycosis include microscopy, histopathologic and culture examination which are lengthy and time- consuming methods.

Dry swab in sample tube.

Add up to 750µL 1X Atila sample buffer.

Vortex & incubate at 95C for 10 minutes.

Add 20 µL Reaction Mix and 5 µL processed sample.

Run on standard PCR instrument.
